摘要
It was shown in a previous report that native cellulose microfibrils (cellulose I) backbone can be greatly improved if conditions are selected for much slower precipitation and crystallization of cellulose from the solution. One then obtains a shish-kebab structure in which the regularity of the texture and the size of the lamellae can easily be controlled. Details of the experimental procedure are given; electron microscopy was used to characterize the microstructure of samples studied.
