ERROR PROPAGATION IN A CLOSED-LOOP ADAPTIVE OPTICS SYSTEM - A COMPARISON BETWEEN SHACK-HARTMANN AND CURVATURE WAVE-FRONT SENSORS

摘要
It is shown that the error propagation problem associated with curvature sensing can be offset when the sensor is used in a closed feedback loop with an unresolved reference point source. A demonstration is given in the ideal case of full compensation under low noise conditions.
