摘要
The electrochemical behaviour of solid copper selenides incorporated in a carbon paste electrode is investigated. Typical voltammograms have been recorded and reactions explaining the various peaks are advocated. CuSe shows stepwise oxidation in Se(0) and Se(IV); the first oxidation step is complete. CuSe can be reduced in Cu2Se, this reaction being facilitated in the presence of paste-incorporated Cu(II). Cu2+xSe oxidation is a stepwise process leading to Cu2Se, CuSe, Se and finally Se(IV). Cu2Se can also be chemically oxidized in CuSe in the presence of Se(IV).
