THE IDENTIFICATION OF (OOO)-O-16-O-18-O-16 AND (OOO)-O-16-O-16-O-18 OZONE ISOTOPES IN HIGH-RESOLUTION GROUND-BASED FTIR SPECTRA

摘要
We present evidence of the (OOO)-O-16-O-18-O-16 and (OO18)-O-16-O-16 ozone isotopes in the 5 mu region from FTIR solar occultation spectra obtained from the Jungfraujoch Solar Observatory(47 degrees N, 8 degrees E, 3580 m) in Switzerland at a spectral resolution of 0.0025 cm(-1) (res. = 1/2L). These spectra clearly show numerous unblended lines of the (OO16)-O-16-O-18 ozone isotope. Laboratory spectra in the 5 mu region of both O-50(3) isotopes have been measured and have yielded line positions of the v(1) + v(3) isotopic bands which can eventually lead to their retrieval from measured ground-based solar occultation spectra. Although retrieval of (OOO)-O-16-O-16-O-18 could be difficult due to slight line blending, identification of several lines is shown.
