摘要
An extended homogeneous two-phase model is presented for the prediction of the two-phase flow of liquid and its vapor in a vertical well. The one-dimensional mathematical model includes some novel features for the calculation of the pressure drop along the well. The capability of the model is demonstrated by its application to three different geothermal wells for which experimental data are available and each of which presents completely different flow characteristics. In all cases the calculations compare very well with the experimental results.
