摘要
Composite materials were made up by dispersion of maghemite nanoparticles in an organically modified silicate matrix. The matrix acts as an antisintering agent for iron oxide grains and their spinel structure is retained at high temperature (1000 or 1400 degrees C). Under argon flux, the matrix can act as a reducing agent leading to various reduced states of iron oxide up to the metal.
