SELECTIVE REDUCTION OF NO BY HYDROCARBONS AND OXYGENATED HYDROCARBONS OVER METAL-OXIDE CATALYSTS

摘要
A survey of recent studies on metal oxide and related catalysts for the selective reduction of NO by hydrocarbons and oxygenated hydrocarbons over metal oxide catalysts is presented, focussing mainly on the work of the author's group. The contents include single metal oxides, sulfate-promoted metal oxides, binary metal oxides, metal-supported oxides and supported noble metals. Then the catalytic performance of alumina, one of the most active single metal oxides is described. Reaction mechanisms concerning the behavior of these catalysts are also discussed.
