BEHAVIOR OF HIGHER-REPRESENTATION WILSON LINES IN FINITE-TEMPERATURE, SU(2), LATTICE GAUGE-THEORY

摘要
The behavior of Wilson lines in representations J=12, 1, and 3/2 in the critical region of the deconfined phase of finite-temperature, SU(2), lattice gauge theory is studied. Theoretical considerations based on a flux model and on the three-dimensional 4 model predict L1 const and L32L12 as TTc. For T sufficiently close to Tc, Monte Carlo data favor these predictions over the mean-field result LJL122J. © 1990 The American Physical Society.
