From single-crystal investigations CuSnF6 crystallizes triclinic, space group P1BAR-C(i)1 (No. 2) with a = 550.3(1) pm, b = 510.5(1) pm, c = 526.3(1) pm, alpha = 120.21(1)-degrees, beta = 92.52(2)-degrees, gamma = 116.33(2)-degrees, Z = 1. Isotypic are CuPbF6 [a = 559.3(1) pm, b = 512.4(1) pm, c = 530.1(1) pm, alpha = 120.92(2)-degrees, beta = 92.70(2)-degrees, gamma = 115.20(2)-degrees, Z = 1], CuTiF6 [a = 536.6(2) pm, b = 518.0(2) pm, c = 512.5(3) pm, alpha = 119.92(3)-degrees, beta = 90.91(2)-degrees, gamma = 117.69(3)-degrees, Z = 1] and CuMnF6 [a = 515.6(1) pm, b = 491.7(1) pm, c = 499.9(1) pm, alpha = 119.82(2)-degrees, beta = 91.07(2)-degrees, gamma = 116.80(2)-degrees, Z = 1], whereas CuPdF6 [a = 497.1(1) pm, b = 501.5(1) pm, c = 952.3(1) pm, alpha = 89.73(1)-degrees, beta = 104.16(1)-degrees, gamma = 121.49(1)-degrees] is isotypic with CuPtF6.
