摘要
Measurements of sulfur dioxide (SO2) were made from an aircraft over the Eastern Colorado Plains in August of 1988. Three different SO2 measurement techniques were used. A high-flow filter pack collection system was operated by the University of Washington, a diffusion denuder/ion chromatography system by Texas Tech University and a commercial pulsed fluorescence SO2 analyzer was operated by the Air Resources Laboratory of NOAA. Measurements ranged from less than 0.1 ppbv to in excess of 1 ppbv. Although measurements from the three techniques showed considerable scatter, all three sets of measurements were significantly correlated. © 1990.
