摘要
A fully electromagnetic theory describing the interaction of radiofrequency waves with low-frequency curvature-driven modes in mirror geometry is presented. The theory includes the direct ponderomotive force and sideband mode coupling on an equal footing. Tandem mirror stabilization experiments are discussed with emphasis on further measurements that would enable a more definitive comparison of theory and experiment.
