FREQUENCY RELATION IN AN OPTICAL RING CAVITY WITH DISTRIBUTED NONLINEAR ELEMENTS

摘要
We consider an optical ring cavity with distributed nonlinear elements and investigate its periodic output behavior. The relation between the phase difference of the adjacent outputs, the output frequency and the response time of the nonlinear media is found. We also study the effect of delay on this relation. © 1990.
