摘要
The acidity of precipitation water adhering on plant leaves may be buffered by surface reactions. The rates of neutralization, measured by different authors, should be comparable with each other, and should be defined as the acid/base buffer intensity β, with the standard unit being mol m-2 sec-1. © 1989.
