摘要
Trimethylaluminum reacts with cyclic siloxane oligomers or poly(siloxanes) to generate the primary member of a family of dimeric dialkylaluminum trialkylsiloxanes, (trimethylsiloxy)dimethylaluminum, [Me2Al(OSiMe3)]2. The X-ray crystal structure of this primary siloxalane has been redetermined with use of modern crystallographic techniques. It crystallizes in the space group C2/m (No. 12) with unit cell dimensions a 11.350 (5) angstrom, b = 13.101 (2) angstrom, c = 6.918 (4) angstrom, and = 111.60 (2)-degrees.
