CUBIC AND UNIAXIAL ANISOTROPY EFFECTS ON MAGNETOSTATIC MODES IN (111)-ORIENTED YTTRIUM-IRON-GARNET FILMS

摘要
The influence of cubic and uniaxial anisotropy on magnetostatic waves is investigated both theoretically and experimentally. The experimental results for standing and propagating magnetostatic waves in (111)-oriented thin garnet films are in good agreement with theoretical predictions. On the basis of our investigations we propose a curve-fitting method for estimating of the anisotropy constants.
