CROSS HELICITY AND ALIGNMENT STRUCTURE IN 2-DIMENSIONAL MHD TURBULENCE

摘要
Two-dimensional MHD decaying turbulence is studied by numerical calculations with high resolution. Strong local alignment of velocity fields and magnetic fields is observed. This supports the importance of the cross helicity effect in the dynamo problem.
