THE Y(YL), A COMPOSITENESS-INSPIRED EXTRA GAUGE BOSON

摘要
We show that the (isoscalar)Y(YL) boson, originally introduced on the basis of compositeness and W, Y(YL) dominance can be understood as an extra gauge boson within a U(1)B×SU(2)L×U(1)Y gauge theory broken by an appropriate choice of the Higgs sector. Radiative-correction effects can thus be calculated as reliably as in the SU(2)L×U(1)Y, theory when comparing the predictions with forthcoming precision data in the SLC/LEP energy range. © 1990 Springer-Verlag.
