摘要
A high-quality hybrid undulator (KIAE-4) has been designed for the FOM-FEM project. It provides a strong magnetic field of 2.0 kG for a relatively large gap with a nominal value of 26 mm at a period of 4 cm. Two magnet side arrays provide enhancement of the magnetic field as well as the transverse profile of the undulator field adequate to e-beam focusing requirements. The engineering design and results of magnetic field measurements are presented.
