摘要
This study investigated age differences in the perceived frequency of discipline problems among preschoolers. There were clearcut peaks in behavior occurrences at 30 to 36 months for total items and for four of five scales on the Toddler Behavior Checklist. However, by 48 months there were significant decreases from a peak in discipline problems only for the Physical Aggression and Immaturity scales. There were no gender or socioeconomic differences. Age-specific means and standard deviations provide a basis of comparison for family practitioners.
