DEPENDENCE OF FLR EFFECTS ON RF POWER DURING ICRF HEATING IN TOKAMAK PLASMAS

摘要
The characteristics of FLR effects and their dependence on RF power are studied during ICRF minority heating in tokamak plasmas. With the ion energy losses being taken into consideration, a critical heating power above which FLR effects may play an important role is derived. The quasilinear Fokker-Planck equation is calculated numerically it is shown that the analytically derived critical power is in good agreement with the numerical calculation.
