EXCHANGE SPLITTING OF SELF-TRAPPED EXCITONS IN AGCL FROM OPTICALLY DETECTED EPR AT 95 GHZ

摘要
The optically detected EPR spectrum at 95 GHz of the self-trapped exciton in AgCl reveals a magnetic-field-induced mixing of its singlet and triplet states. From this effect we have derived the exchange splitting, which is too small for observation in the optical spectra, to be 5+/-1 cm-1.
