摘要
The quantum structure in the scattering of atoms by the field of a standing light wave under conditions similar to the experimental ones is analyzed. In case of adiabatic interaction and at small saturation the scattering occurs, mainly with the transfer to an atom of an even number of single photon momentum. The odd peaks in the scattering pattern are connected with the violation of the adiabaticity due to spontaneous emission.
