摘要
Experiments monitoring temporal recurrences of the fluorescence polarization anisotropy in a supersonic jet have been used to monitor the inertial properties of n-alkane complexes of the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon 2,5-diphenylfuran (PPF). Semi-empirical predictions for the structure of the octane complex have been verified and two different conformational isomers of PPF/nonane have been resolved and identified.
