ESTIMATION OF SLIDING MODE DOMAINS OF UNCERTAIN VARIABLE STRUCTURE SYSTEMS WITH BOUNDED CONTROLLERS

摘要
This note addresses the problem of estimating regions of asymptotic stability (RAS) of uncertain dynamical systems with bounded controllers and the “sliding mode” requirement. The sliding mode is a desirable property since it results in a robust control. The notion of combining different Lyapunov functions along with a decoupling transformation are used in order to find estimates of the stability regions. A discontinuous controller is considered, and the RAS for the closed-loop system driven by this controller is estimated. © 1990 IEEE
