摘要
Using the Lagrangian approach to individual bubbles in a Eulerian liquid framework, a model has been developed for predicting the dynamic gas-liquid dispersion behaviour in a 2-D bubble column. Since gas-liquid flow is usually turbulent and buoyancy is the main driving force, the model therefore accounts for turbulence-induced gas bubble dispersion and buoyancy-induced liquid flow. Dynamic simulations using the model have been carried out on a Stardent mini-supercomputer, to produce video quality graphical images of bubble column behaviour, starting from a stagnant liquid. This provides a direct method to assess the simulation model by simple, visual comparison with a real system.
