摘要
A map of CO J = 3-2 emission with 14'' resolution shows a well-collimated, redshifted outflow from the low-luminosity pre-main-sequence star DG Tau B. The molecular outflow is precisely aligned with a previously detected optical jet. The momentum transport rate of the redshifted molecular outflow is calculated and found to be approximately equal to the momentum transport rate of the optical jet. The similar momentum transport rates, together with the alignment of the two flows, strongly supports a hypothesis in which the fast collimated jet has produced the molecular flow by sweeping up ambient gas.
