摘要
Vacuum ultraviolet laser radiation at 172 nm has been obtained from a solid state LaF3:Nd3+-based laser pumped by a pulsed discharge molecular F2 laser at 157 nm. This finding opens new prospects for the development of a new class of "medium plus pumping source" tunable vuv laser devices.
