摘要
Interpretation techniques have been developed to process the spectra of upwelling radiation from water in the visible. Spectral indices to retrieve the concentration of optically active components have been suggested. They make it possible to retrieve the chlorophyll-alpha concentration with a standard error of less than 2.6 mg m-3, mineral suspended matter concentration less than 4 mg l-1, and dissolved organic matter concentration less than 0.5 mg Cl-1. The instrumentation is described for measurements of the upwelling radiation as well as for operational determination of the concentrations of phytoplankton chlorophyll-alpha, mineral suspended matter and dissolved organic matter.
