摘要
The two rare earth germanates in the title represent new and different structure types, with Gd being in 7 and 8 coordination, and Dy being 6- and 7-coordinated to oxygen. Ge is tetrahedral in either case. Both compounds are monoclinic, their structure as well as some UV and X-ray-excited luminescent properties are described.
