摘要
Benzoic acid and its derivatives were removed by highly swollen chitosan beads and partially N-acetylated chitosan beads. Under competitive uptake, benzoic acid is almost removed by chitosan at lower initial concentration, while highest removal ratio was observed for p-hydroxy benzoic acid at higher concentration. There are differences in the dependence of removal ratios on the initial concentration.
