摘要
The three-dimensional structure of the cochlea of the alligator lizard was examined and an anatomical model was constructed. Separate pieces of the model represent the cochlear duct and posterior branch of the eighth cranial nerve. These pieces fit together inside a transparent plastic piece that represents the bony capsule. In this paper, the method used to construct the anatomical model is described and three-dimensional features of cochlear anatomy are illustrated. © 1990.
