摘要
A theoretical exposition of methods for estimating the quantity of digesta in the rumen using digesta-flow markers and intraruminal sampling is given, with emphasis on the kinetic assumptions underlying each method. Single- and dual-marker approaches to estimating volume in steady and non-steady-state are presented. © 1991 Academic Press Limited.
