摘要
An examination of the lives and accomplishments of Victorian women travellers raises questions regarding the 'standards' for inclusiveness in the category geographer, and the type of knowledge deemed appropriate for the emerging profession. This reply to Stoddart's commentary clarifies why it is important to raise these questions as we attempt to create a more inclusionary historiography of geography.
