摘要：

In an earlier published paper,2 a confidence interval approach was used to show that the use of a large amount of internal standard (relative to the analyte) would adversely affect the precision of the analytical method. However, the confidence intervals were not calculated correctly. The authors recalculated the confidence intervals and found that there is no effect on the precision as measured by the confidence intervals.
