ANOMALOUS POLARIZATION - EVIDENCE FOR VIBRONIC COUPLING IN THE ALLYL RADICAL

摘要
The resonance Raman spectra of the allyl radical display intensity in the fundamental of non-totally symmetric modes. Measurement of the depolarization ratio on the nu9 and nu12 vibrational modes yields anomalous depolarization values. The anomalous depolarization ratios provide evidence for vibronic coupling of the allyl radical-excited states in terms of B-term scattering.
