ELASTIC PROPERTIES OF RADIATION-CROSS-LINKED BLOCK-COPOLYMERS

摘要
The equilibrium elastic modulus E infinity of irradiated diblock (SE) and triblock (SBS) copolymers (S=styrene, B=butadiene) has been studied at 120 and 20 degrees C. We demonstrated that irradiated block-copolymers have E(infinity)(120) > 0 at doses R > R(n) (the threshold dose of network-formation), At 20 degrees C the elastic properties of irradiated block-copolymers are represented by the series-parallel model but in irradiated SBS distribution of crosslinks is apparently heterogeneous.
