摘要
The energy gap Delta of the superconducting compound Rb3C60 is determined by electron tunneling spectroscopy in high vacuum using a low temperature scanning tunneling microscope. A single crystalline sample shows a significantly larger gap value(Delta=7.1 meV) than a polycrystalline sample (Delta approximate to 2-4 meV). This behavior is attributed to larger local variation of stoichiometry in the polycrystalline sample.
