THE F1II-A'1-PI(0,0) AND B1-PI-A'1-PI(1,0) GREEN-BAND TRANSITIONS OF CAO

摘要
The observation and analysis of the F1Π←A′1Π(0, 0) and B1Π←A′1Π(1, 0) Green-Band transitions of CaO are reported. The significance of the F1Π state for a ligand field, atomic-ion-in-molecule model of the global electronic structure of CaO is discussed. A J-dependent perturbation in F1Π (v=0) is attributed to interaction with D1Δ (v=4) and B1Π (v=1). Fitted constants for the previously unobserved F1Π state are (in cm-1): {A table is presented} with 1 σ uncertainties in parentheses. © 1990.
