THE CONTROL OF VASCULAR DIFFERENTIATION

The role of the vascular tissues in the life of the plant cannot be properly understood unless they are studied developmentally in relation to the ontogeny of the whole plant; and conversely, the development of the vascular plant cannot be discussed comprehensively without reference to the differentiation of the vascular system.
