摘要
A computational method is developed for determining temperature distributions in machining with coolant. Realistic models are proposed for heat-generation rates in the cutting regions and for heat-transfer coefficients for cooled boundaries. In Part 1 the models used in the analysis are presented while in Part 2 the computational method and results are given.
