摘要
The problem of determining the particle-phase stress in potential flow has been examined recently using two different procedures by Sangani and Didwania (1993a) and by Bulthuis (Appendix C of Zhang and Prosperetti 1994). The present study corrects errors in the expression given by Sangani and Didwania, recasts the expression given by Bulthuis in a form suitable for computation, and shows the equivalence of the results obtained by the two methods.
