摘要
While compiling, evaluating, and estimating the thermodynamic properties of perovskite compounds, it was found that the enthalpy of formation from binary oxides can be well correlated with the tolerance factor. Although the tolerance factor has been used to clarify the structural features of the perovskites in terms of the effective ionic size, its relation with the thermodynamic properties has been investigated by several authors. In the present investigation it was attempted to check the regularities in more detail using new data.
