ELECTROCHEMICAL REDUCTION OF CO2 TO CO AT NI ELECTRODES MODIFIED WITH CD

摘要
CO2, not reduced practically at Ni electrodes, was effectively reduced at Ni modified with Cd in aqueous solution, studied by in-situ electrodeposition method. Hydrogen formation is greatly suppressed by deposition of Cd, CO formation becoming predominant. HCOO-, produced favorably at Cd electrodes, is not appreciably yielded.
