摘要
We report the first observation of the origin and lower vibrational levels (nu' = 0-45) of the f'0g+(1D) ion-pair state of I2. ThiS state lies in the third tier of ion-pair states and its observation was achieved by using a combination of three techniques: namely, optical double resonance, resonance ionisation and jet-cooling.
