In this study the moisture absorption behaviour of PMR-15 based carbon fibre composite has been examined. A moisture diffusion isotherm was determined for a sample of the unidirectional laminate, and from this the diffusion coefficient for the material was calculated. An equilibrium moisture absorption isotherm for the material was constructed and analysed. The relationship between equilibrium moisture content, equilibrium methanol content, and residual thermal strain was also investigated, using 0-degrees/90-degrees unbalanced laminate beams.
