摘要
The kinetics of garnet formation by solid state reactions was investigated by pre-sintering and sintering a mixture of Fe//2O//, Y//2O//3 and Al//2O//3 at several temperatures. The Mossbauer effect study of reaction products allows determination of incorporated Al ions in the structure. A separation of the phase containing hematite, orthoferrite, and garnet are carried out from Mossbauer spectra collected at 300 degree C. The magnetization measurements and Curie temperatures support the results of the Mossbauer effect study.
