摘要
This paper is a continuation of earlier work and utilizes several different analytical and surface reactivity techniques to study the compositional and surface properties of a series of carbon blacks which vary widely in morphology and microstructure. These techniques include hydrogen and oxygen analyses, SIMS, XPS/ESCA, IGC, moisture adsorption, and oxidation in Ar/O "SUB 2" plasma. In addition, an attempt has been made to correlate these measurements to rubber properties based on stress-strain and dynamic testing. (from paper)
