摘要
The problem of the non-linear dynamics of rotor/casing rub interactions in rotating equipment is investigated. Specifically, a non-linear analytical rotor casing rub interaction simulation is solved. This yields insights as to the interrelationship between rub force histories, energy levels, rub duration, incidence separation angles, and backward whirl initiation, as well as the overall rotor orbit during successive rubs. Special attention is also given to determine the effect of casing stiffness, friction coefficient, imbalance load and system damping characteristics.
