摘要
A 1 W CW Tm-doped fluoride fibre laser operating at 1.47 mum and using an upconversion pump scheme is demonstrated. The pump source is an LD pumped Nd:YAG laser operating at 1.064 mum. The threshold and slope efficiency are 175 mW and 29%, respectively. Tunable operation from 1.445 to 1.51 mum is observed.
