摘要
This letter describes work done on the fabrication of ceramic-glass-ceramic seals using microwave heating. Seals were made using alumina substrates of 96 wt% Al//2O//3, 3 wt% SiO//2 and 1 wt% MgO. Less energy is required to form a glass-ceramic seal by microwave heating than by conventional heating.
